Heritage's key assets that are at various levels of development or commercialisation include: the historic Talisman gold mine near Waihi in the Coromandel region of New Zealand and the Thackaringa cobalt prospect near Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australia.

Talisman Mine

Talisman MineBetween 1875 and 1992 the Talisman Mine produced 1M oz of gold and 3M oz of silver and is part of a 3.7km long mineralised system similar to the quartz vein structures of the Martha open pit mine, 12km to the east.

Thackaringa Cobalt Project

Heritage's promising Thackaringa cobalt project lies 25km southwest of the major Australian mining centre of Broken Hill, which hosts a world class silver/lead/zinc deposit that has been mined for over 120 years.

Heritage Gold owns 29.78% of Broken Hill Prospecting Limited (BHPL), which is planning to develop the cobalt project at Thackaringa, about 25 kilometers southwest of Broken Hill in New South Wales. BHPL’s prospectus for its IPO closed on 31 January 2011. The company is seeking to list on the ASX and NZSX.
